Why Reflection Matters
Before you can create authentically, you need to know what you’re bringing to the moment. Reflection isn’t about fixing how you feel—it’s about arriving honestly. When you skip this step, you might be creating from yesterday's stress or tomorrow’s anxiety instead of today’s truth.
Please note: This is how I practice reflection—your way might look completely different, and that’s exactly as it should be.

Take a moment
Right now, pause and ask yourself:
“How does the idea of creating feel in my body today?”
Take three breaths and notice: Heavy or light? Excited or resistant?
Don't try to change the feeling—just notice it
Say it out loud: “Today, creating feels...”

Nurture Your Practice
Tools for noticing this week:
Before getting out of bed, ask "What wants to be made today?"
Notice when thoughts of creating arise—what’s your body’s response?
When you find yourself organizing instead of creating, pause and ask “What am I avoiding?”
Is the resistance about the creating or about sharing what you might make?
⬇️
Let it Bloom
Questions for deeper reflection:
How does excitement live in my body differently than resistance?
What time of day do I most naturally feel drawn toward creating?
How does my energy shift when I move from thinking about creating to actually starting?
How do I honor both the “yes” and the “not today” without judgment?

A Gentle Reminder
Your creative needs shift with life's rhythms. The word that found you today is simply mirroring where you are right now—not where you'll always be. If you took this quiz next week, next month, or next year, you might discover a completely different word calling to you. That's not inconsistency—that's being human.
Your creative spirit is allowed to need different things in different seasons.
