What I do while waiting for my meal.

Instead of scrolling my phone, I open my little pouch of supplies.

I paint and letter tokens of appreciation—little thank-yous for the usher, the greeter, the server, the kitchen crew.

It’s always wonderful to be able to get their names and personalize their tokens with a few words of gratitude and encouragement on the back.

A reminder that someone noticed. That their care didn’t go unseen.

These small moments of making and giving are my way of being present—with myself, with others, with the everyday kindness that holds up the world.
