This is where you come to make at your own pace, however feels true today.

Where to Begin

Creativity doesn’t need confidence to begin. It needs safety. It needs touch. It needs a container where mistakes aren’t corrected, just layered over.

Some people arrive here knowing exactly what they want to create. Most don’t. Both are welcome.

The RIPPLE Practice™

Everything here is grounded in The RIPPLE Practice™ — six movements that guide the creative process

They aren’t steps to follow in order. They’re movements you return to, again and again. If you’ve done your creative check-in, you’ve already moved through them.

This is simply a framework I work with and it happens to have a name. Perhaps, exploring this practice will help you discover what yours looks like.

When I paint, there's no distance between me and the page. My body is directly involved. It feels instinctive, almost primal.

Something shifts when people stop talking and start touching paper. At first, there’s hesitation. Within minutes, the room changes. Conversations loosen. Shoulders drop. The quiet magic of working with our hands moves faster than language. It bypasses the part of us that wants to perform or get it right.

When the materials are simple and nothing is precious, the pressure dissolves. What’s left is curiosity.

A monthly live Zoom gathering

One hour of honest conversation and quiet making — together.

This isn’t a class. There’s no instruction, no demonstration, no critique. Sometimes we make. Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we sit with a theme and see what surfaces.

People come as they are — painting, journaling, just listening. What matters is the container: a space where your creative impulse can surface without performance pressure.

What to expect:

  • Live on Zoom, once a month (dates announced via newsletter)

  • One hour — arrive as you are, leave when it’s done

  • No recordings — this is a live, present experience

  • $10, sliding scale — come because you want to

  • You don’t need materials, experience, or a plan

Got 5 Minutes?

Put the phone down. Pick something up. Five minutes. No rules.

These are short creative invitations — prompts, provocations, and permission slips for the person who wants to start immediately without joining anything. Each one is designed to get you making before your inner critic can finish its sentence.

Make with Me

Five videos. One arc. Each one shows a different truth about what happens when you sit down to create without knowing what's coming.

The arc:

Courage Failure as material No agenda as freedom Trusting intuition Giving yourself permission.

You can watch them in any order, but if you watch them in sequence, something builds.

A Return to Creative Courage Painting in front of 500 people with no plan. The crowd chose presence over planning.

Layered Watercoloring What happens when everything goes wrong and you stay with it. A white rose emerging from disaster.

Enjoy the Process of Art Journaling No agenda, no destination. When you create without an agenda, what comes through is closer to what's true.

It's All About the Process Trusting what comes. A face that wouldn't have appeared without the leaves that came first.

Intuitive Painting in Under an Hour Permission to create like a child. The gentlest entry point — no rules, no stakes, just begin.
