What Your Hands Remember

May Ripple Room: What Your Hands Remember

What do your hands know that you haven’t named yet?

This month’s Ripple Room is an invitation to listen to the body's quiet intelligence—the colors you reach for without thinking, the gestures that repeat themselves, the shapes your fingers find on their own. Before language, before intention, your hands are already making something.

There’s a kind of knowing that doesn't come from deciding. It comes from doing. From years of reaching, pressing, folding, smoothing. Your hands carry memory the way a path carries footprints: worn in, familiar, yours.

Whether you paint, stitch, tear paper, or simply hold a pen and let it wander, this is a space to follow what your hands already know … and to be surprised by what they remember.

Bring whatever creative materials you enjoy or nothing at all. Presence counts as making here.

Please note: This is a live-only gathering so we can be fully present together. No recordings.
